The AWS User Group Philippines (AWSUG.PH), one of the biggest and most active AWS communities in the Asia Pacific region and twice named AWS User Group of the Year in the region for 2022 and 2025, is bringing back AWS Community Day Manila this August 22 and 23, 2026, under the theme Build, Break, Repeat.

AWS Community Day is a worldwide event organized by AWS user groups dedicated to knowledge sharing and community building among AWS enthusiasts. It gives attendees a space to learn about AWS technologies, discover practical use cases, and connect with peers and industry experts through sessions, workshops, and networking activities.

This year’s Manila leg promises actionable insights on how AWS is transforming industries today, the latest cloud trends shaping what is next, and expert-led sessions from top global and local AWS leaders. Attendees can also look forward to deep technical learning grounded in real-world use cases and AWS best practices, guided workshops built for practical, applied skills, and exclusive perks including AWS swag, prizes, and giveaways.

The event builds on a strong track record. Previous AWS Community Day Philippines events have drawn more than 700 attendees across two days, with over 200 companies, organizations, and universities represented, more than 25 distinguished speakers, 6 workshops, and over 15 sponsors and community partners. Regional legs in Cebu and Davao each welcomed more than 150 attendees.

Behind these numbers is a community with real scale. AWSUG.PH counts 19,000 active members on its Facebook group, has run more than 250 meetup events online and onsite, and now oversees six subcommittees, among them AWS User Group Davao, AWS User Group Cebu, AWS User Group Pangasinan, AWS User Group BuildHers+ Philippines, AWS User Group e:Novators Philippines, and the AWS Security User Group. The community also supports 60 established AWS Cloud Clubs and Learning Clubs actively promoting cloud computing across universities nationwide.

BUILD. BREAK. REPEAT. is more than a theme; it is the mindset AWS Community Day Manila 2026 is built around. This community-led event is for cloud architects, technology leaders, students, DevOps engineers, startup founders, developers, IT managers, and AWS practitioners alike- anyone looking to build real skills, break things safely in a space made for experimenting, and repeat the process until it sticks.

Day 1 runs at Brittany Hotel in BGC, Taguig, and Day 2 moves to the AWS Office. A free, fully online track is also available for those joining remotely.
